Filter candle/ceramic cartridge selection:

Model 288 - Town Water generally last <1000 litres or 6 months depending on water quality (default)

Slim CereMetix 5" X 2" upgrade - Finer Filtering water last 1000-1500 litres or 6-12 months depending on your water quality

Ultraceram 5" upgrade - Finer filtering and removes fluoride, micro plastic generally last 1500-2000 litres or 12-14 months depending on water quality, will remove some PFAS but unknown how much.

Doulton PFAS 6" - Filtering tank water and town water last < 1500 litres or 12 months depending on water quality in tank. Removes everything the Super Sterasyl® filter does with additional heavy metal capabilities and unparalleled filtration of up to 99.38% of PFAS (PFOA & PFOS) contaminants. This filter may remove some fluoride but unknown how much. Only suitable for large units with large filter candle upper chambers.
